Discover the art of perfect coffee making with this classic French press. The Chambord is an icon by Bodum, whose original design comes from Attilo Calimani, an Italian designer who patented the basic principle of the French press back in 1929.

Timeless tradition

Jørgen Bodum began working on his version of the French press system in the 1970 s, but it wasn't until he took over Melior-Martin in 1991 - a company that made a dome-shaped cafetière - that the classic Chambord was developed. It has a timeless design and is an eco-friendly way to prepare coffee. True to the Bodum motto: "Make taste, not waste."
