Ruhla

History on Your Wrist
The historic Ruhla watch brand is being revived! Drawing from a rich archive of historical models, the highlights of the catalogue are being reissued with fresh designs and modern technology. The watches are produced at the original site, the Uhrenwerke Ruhla. Founded in 1862, this was once one of the world’s largest watch factories, with 10,000 employees. The last remaining building — a listed Bauhaus-style structure from 1929 — now houses the watch production facility owned by the family-run watch specialist POINTtec from Munich-Ismaning. In addition to Ruhla, POINTtec also develops, manufactures, and markets the watch brands ZEPPELIN and bauhaus. POINTtec works with top-tier and reliable suppliers who also provide components to well-known luxury watch manufacturers.
