The Domaine de la Croix Blanche vineyard is situated in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley - surrounded by olive groves and with a view of the Gorges de l'Ardèche. Barren limestone and sand, the altitude with its cool temperatures and a herd of goats that roam freely and contribute to the maintenance of the vineyards all make the environment here unique. And this is precisely the place where Dallmayr's Wine of the Year comes from: La Grange des Chèvres 2023. Dark berries, sencha tea and fine herbs dominate on the nose, before a charming, languorous note of red cherry from the Grenache unfolds on the palate. A truly fine wine to be savoured.
