German gin meets Mosel Riesling. Producer Capulet & Montague has succeeded beautifully with this somewhat unusual pairing of two components. The Riesling comes from none other than the Zilliken winery in Saarburg, which also takes it name from the Royal Prussian forester Ferdinand Geltz.

What makes the "Edition Sansibar 2020" so special?

In contrast to the original "Ferdinand's Gin", the "Sansibar Edition 2020" is made exclusively from 2010 Riesling Late Harvest, which comes from the "Ockfener Bockstein" vineyard. Another bonus is Andreas Vallendar, Master Distiller, who has again proven his skills and flair for top-quality spirits with this creation. Alongside exotic ingredients, native botanicals from in and around the vineyard were primarily used in the distillation process, giving the gin its typical aroma.
