This single malt is produced in a distillery in the forest at the foot of the Kaikomagatake mountain in the "Japanese Alps". The clear mountain water with its balanced mineral content contributes to the whisky's smooth flavour. A light golden colour in the glass, it has aromas of herbs, green fruit, mint and fresh grass on the nose, which are rounded off by notes of grapefruit and yuzu and the subtlest hint of smoke. The finish is light and refreshing.
