A simple touch is all you need to turn the lamp on and off or control the brightness. Whether you place it next to the bed, in your favourite nook, on your desk or in the children's room, this large lamp radiates light and optimism everywhere - even without a cord, thanks to its built-in rechargeable battery. This was the intention of the Danish designer Gustav Ehrenreich, who designed the Hoptimist towards the end of the 1960 s. He wanted to create a figure who would always remind people to stay positive and optimistic.
