An exclusive collector's item from the Lufthansa Upcycling Collection: each of the widely travelled aviation tags is limited and given an exclusive serial number. They are made from the aircraft skin of the D-AIPM. The Airbus was decommissioned in May 2020 after being used by Lufthansa for more than 30 years, believe it or not. A "Papa Mike" aviation tag can be used as either a key or luggage tag and can be particularly useful in view of the free Lost & Found service*. Because registering the serial number means that the owner can be identified if the luggage is lost.

Heritage designs for the future

Deboarding for exclusive design objects: decommissioned aircraft and airport products and materials form the basis of the Lufthansa Upcycling Collection, which will impress more than just airline fans and aviation-loving travellers. You can now enjoy the original Lufthansa signature style in your daily life and make an important contribution at the same time. The unique and limited products combine the past with a message for the future and are the perfect embodiment of sustainability.
