This whisky comes from the Hebridean island of Jura and is inspired by the striking three peaks known as "The Paps of Jura". Produced in a small distillery, it is initially matured in bourbon barrels. Finally, it is finished in Pedro Ximénez casks that previously contained 40-year-old sherry. Besides the dark golden colour, this results in the incredibly complex aroma profile: the nose offers impressive accents of ginger cake, vanilla and balsamic, while the palate reveals notes of spiced pear, fig syrup and roasted walnuts. A remarkable single malt that represents the ultimate in enjoyment.
