The year 2009 was a good year for Champagne. From August the weather was very warm, sunny and dry, meaning the harvest could begin early. With grapes of exquisite quality from selected areas, the house of Brimoncourt created an extraordinary Cuvée. It combines the freshness of Chardonnay with the sophistication of twelve years maturing in chalk cellars. The colour is light golden with a particularly fine perlage. The elegant, complex bouquet combines notes of citrus, quince and yellow plum with toasted aromas of hazelnuts and brioche. On the palate the entire spectrum of aromas is present right through to the fresh finish.
