In Andalusia, the young Huerta de Albalá winery - founded in 2006 - creates powerful Mediterranean wines of the highest quality. On the nose, this Barbazul Cuvée 4/4 features intense aromas of dark stone fruits and berries accompanied by notes of pepper, cocoa and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is powerful with soft tannins, subtle acidity and a long finish. Having matured for five months in small French barrique barrels, this wine has an additional complexity, fine toasted aromas and an elegant structure.
