Rosa dei Masi is produced using the appassimento technique that is typical of Veneto. Before pressing, a portion of the fresh-picked Refosco grapes are dried. This gives the rosé a surprisingly well-rounded, balanced character in addition to the typical freshness and elegance. The wine has a salmon-pink colour with light cherry-red reflections; its bouquet features an intense aroma of raspberries and wild cherries. On the palate, it stands out with a soft mouthfeel that is beautifully balanced with lively acidity. A long finish with fruity notes rounds out the drinking experience. Excellent as an aperitif.
