Traditional family business Philipponnat made a name for itself as supplier to the royal court of King Ludwig XIV. The grapes for the base wines of this cuvée mainly ripen in premier cru and grand cru vineyards at the heart of the Champagne region. The Royale Réserve Brut has a deep golden colour in the glass and a lively, lasting perlage. Aromas of wine and lime blossom, as well as lightly toasted bread develop on the nose, followed by berry, citrus and honey notes. The generous and full-bodied palate combines wine and fruity nuances, joined in the finish by sweet pastry and fresh bread notes.
