By collaborating with the airlines and various European producers, we have been creating limited-edition accessories and items of furniture from aircraft skin, headrest covers and uniforms since 2019. News from the Lufthansa Upcycling Collection

The Lufthansa Upcycling Collection is continuing to grow: discover new designer pieces with aviation heritage, made from parts of the Airbus A321 and former Lufthansa uniforms. Each piece is hand-crafted, sustainable and unique, making it a true statement of style, quality and responsibility.

From uniform to unique item

Former Lufthansa uniforms are given a new lease of life: the Upcycling Collection transforms iconic fabrics into stylish travel companions such as wash bags, pouches and jewellery rolls. These unique, hand-crafted pieces are all water-repellent, and their heritage design will delight aviation fans and others alike.

A piece of aviation history for your home: the A321 radome armchair combines authentic aircraft upcycling with exquisite craftsmanship. Made from an original aircraft nose, with hand-stitched leather, removable padding and rain cover – unique, exclusive, iconic.

A unique piece with character: the A321-131 D-AIRD exit door coffee table was made from an original Lufthansa emergency door and combines authentic upcycling with elegant design. Hand-crafted in Europe, with a glass top and metal legs, it perfectly combines sustainability and premium design.

Discover the first unique pieces made from the iconic SWISS Airbus A321 with the registration HB-IOC. “IOC” stands for International Olympic Committee, as the plane was emblazoned with the Olympic rings for a year. After 27 years of service, the HB-IOC landed for the last time in Zürich in 2022. The uniqueness of this handmade collection is down to its minimalist design and the functionality of the accessories, which can still be recognised as former aircraft parts, bringing the spirit of aviation into your home.
