With the new ASHI fireplace range, the German designer pair kaschkasch has once again proven that even everyday objects can be clever and elegant. The shape of the ASHI firewood basket is inspired by gently swaying reeds growing in abundance in shallow waters. The handle contour has a similar shape and the bar resembles the strong, high reed stems that have been used in basket weaving for centuries.
