Outdoor equipment from fair and transparent production
TATONKA, a German outdoor equipment supplier based in Dasing, manufactures rucksacks, bags, luggage, tents, cookware and clothing. The brand was founded in 1993, and the family business has been in existence since 1980 and is now run by Andreas Schechinger, the second generation of the family. Production takes place in accordance with European manufacturing standards and high social standards in the company's own SA8000-certified factories in Vietnam. The company offers transparent manufacturing: every Friday, the Mountech Co. Ltd. factory in Ho Chi Minh City is open to visitors.
TATONKA sets high standards for the selection and processing of materials in order to minimise the longevity of its products and its ecological footprint.
