At Craggy Range, each wine embodies the unique terroir in which the vines were grown. The Sauvignon Blanc is characterised by the volcanic clay soils of the Martinborough growing region. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then the wine is aged on its lees for five months in used French barrels. In the glass, the wine is a pale straw yellow with green hues. On the nose it is fresh, with aromas of white flowers, jasmine, nectarines and limes. The Sauvignon Blanc is lush on the palate, with complex tropical fruit notes balanced by a lively acidity. The finish is mineral and long-lasting.
