Terms and conditions of participation for the Worldshop competition: "Coordinates. A Serious Case of Travelling" - Quiz

Miles & More GmbH, Main Airport Center, Unterschweinstiege 8, 60549 Frankfurt, Germany (hereinafter “MMG”) will hold a competition (hereinafter “competition”) on the website worldshop.eu during the specified period. The sole organiser of the competition is MMG.
The Prize Draw will take place from October 8, 2025 (00:01 CET) until October 31, 2025 (23:59 CET).
The competition is open to anyone who is aged 18 or over and resident in Germany, Austria or Switzerland at the time of participation and who is not excluded from participation by the following terms and conditions or by MMG. Employees of the Lufthansa Group and their family members are not permitted to participate. MMG reserves the right to exclude certain participants if there are legitimate reasons for this. If this becomes necessary, awarded prizes may be retrospectively withdrawn and reclaimed.
To successfully participate in the “Coordinates. A Serious Case of Travelling" - Quiz Prize Draw on worldshop.eu, participants must correctly answer multiple-choice questions. After clicking “forward” participants must complete the contact form.
Submitting the contact form on https://www.worldshop.eu/en/competition authorises participants to enter the Worldshop competition and take part in the prize draw.
Winners will be randomly selected from all the entries received from participants who meet the above-mentioned requirements. The prizes will be drawn when the competition ends. The winners will then be notified via email within two calendar weeks. The notification will ask winners to provide MMG with their addresses so that their prizes can be delivered. These addresses will only be used for sending out prizes. The prizes will be sent to the winners by post when the winners have submitted their addresses. The prize will be drawn again if a winner fails to contact MMG within 28 days of notification.
The following prizes will be raffled: one Lufthansa Aluminium Collection Trolley S in silver (Article no.: 1763271), one Lufthansa Life Collection Trolley S in black (Article no.: 1767829), plus three Lufthansa Life Collection Amenity Kits in navy (Article no.: 1767839).
The prizes will be sent to the winners by post. There is no entitlement to an alternative prize. Changes or exchanges of prizes are not possible. A cash payout of the prize (including partial payout) is excluded. Prize claims are not transferable to other people.

As the organiser of the competition, MMG processes personal data in order to implement and run the competition. MMG will collect the following personal data: surname, first name, date of birth, email address and postal address. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract). Your personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes. However, we might have to store your data until the expiration of retention obligations and periods stipulated by the legislator or regulatory authority, which might be specified in the commercial code and fiscal code and generally amount to between six and ten years. Furthermore, we may store your data until the expiration of statutory limitation periods (i.e. generally three years; in some cases also up to 30 years) if this is required for asserting, exerting or defending legal claims. The corresponding data will then be routinely deleted. As a data subject, you can exercise the following rights if the relevant legal requirement applies: right of access, Art. 15 GDPR, right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR, right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”), Art. 17 GDPR, right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR, right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR, right to object, Art. 21 GDPR. Regarding the right to object, Art. 21 GDPR: you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to your personal data being processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. e or f GDPR. We will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate that there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is required for establishing, exerting or defending legal claims. You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time. So that we can deal with your request and identify you, please note that we will process your personal data per Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. MMG reserves the right to make changes to the conditions of participation at any time. Should individual conditions of participation be or become invalid, the remaining entry terms and conditions shall continue to apply. Furthermore, MMG reserves the right to end or pause the competition at any time without prior notification. This is specifically the case should situations arise that might hinder or prevent the proper implementation of the competition.
MMG assumes no liability for losses specifically attributable to errors, delays or interruptions during use of the website, during the transmission of information or in the event of faults in technical systems or the service, to the provision of inaccurate information, to the loss or deletion of data, to viruses or to any other factors that may arise during participation unless such losses arise as a result of malicious intent or gross negligence on the part of MMG. The above disclaimers do not apply to events resulting in loss of life, bodily injury or damage to health. In addition, the disclaimers do not apply in the event of the negligent violation of obligations that must be met in order to make proper implementation possible, obligations which, if violated, put the fulfilment of the contractual objective at risk, and which participants can normally assume will be met; in such cases, MMG shall be liable only for foreseeable loss that is typical of this kind of contract.
All decisions are final and there is no right of legal recourse. Please note that prizes awarded through this competition may be subject to income tax. Any taxes on the prizes must be borne by the winner and paid to the relevant tax office.
