This finely crafted model of the legendary Super Star aircraft features authentic, true-to-scale proportions. In 1957, the Lockheed Super Star achieved a milestone in Lufthansa's history, departing from Hamburg and connecting Germany with New York via a non-stop flight for the very first time. Lufthansa used four of these planes until 1965, including as cargo planes in later years. As part of the celebrations for Lufthansa's anniversary in 2026, a restored Super Star will be on display at the Lufthansa Conference & Visitor Centre in Frankfurt.
