The grapes for this wine are grown in the heart of Sancerre on sunny, calciferous clay slopes. This is a Sauvignon Blanc just as it should be: harmonious yet still dynamic thanks to the aromas of citrus and stone fruits. In the glass, it is a light yellow with green and lustrous reflections and it delights the nose with aromas of white grapefruit, buxus and green apple. On the palette, it demonstrates a beautiful balance of acidity and sweetness while the finish is long with a fine, light minerality. Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Pure goes well with fish, white meat and goat's cheese as well as with desserts.
