The spicy bouquet of this 2016 champagne initially reveals aromas of dark berries. Then notes of fig and wild strawberry combine with the spice of pink pepper and allspice. A concentrated, dark fruit flavour follows on the palate; tannins provide contour and richness. The finish is characterised by pleasantly tart notes of sloe and cranberries, with fresh accents of mint and aniseed.
