The bread bin from the Alessi Mattina Collection perfectly embodies this approach: the subtly rounded steel box will keep your bread fresh, the lid serves as a cutting board - and the grooves collect the breadcrumbs. The warm bamboo board is also exceptionally fine as a serving board for the table.
