With the ASHI fireplace tool set by blomus, the German design duo kaschkasch has once again proven that everyday objects can be both clever and elegant. Visually inspired by swaying reeds, the fireplace tool set consisting of shovel, brush, poker, tongs and holder forms a harmonious unit. Magnets are built into the wooden handles of the shovel, brush and poker to hold the tools securely on the stand, while the tongs are simply laid on top. The fireplace tools appear to float on the cross strut of the matt powder-coated holder.
