Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest French wines; it is recognised for its elegance, balance, and its aging potential. The outstanding terroir is located on the northern border of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation; the grape vines have been grown organically since the 1960 s. This wine has an intense crimson colour. On the palate, is presents a lively play of flavours and develops notes of ripe red fruits. The finish brings delicate notes of liquorice along with intense -but not aggressive-tannins. An exceptional wine year.
