The French vineyard Domaine Faiveley in Nuits-St.-Georges has been family run since 1825 and is now in the hands of the seventh generation, managed by Erwan Faiveley and his sister Eve. By combining modern technology with traditional methods, the brother-and-sister team produce great Burgundy wines. The Gevrey-Chambertin "Vieilles Vignes" 2017 vintage is soft and full in flavour with few tannins and a delicate sweetness. It unveils notes of dark berries and is strong on the palate.
