The vines for these single-varietal Sangiovese wines are carefully selected. Ideal altitude, well-drained soil and a south-west orientation give these old vines their special character. The result is a red wine with exceptional structure and finesse, balanced and intensely flavourful. The bouquet is filled with fruity notes of raspberry, black currant, and pomegranate, along with hints of violet and rose. On the palate, it develops flavours of toast and liquorice, a dense tannin structure and a pleasant minerality. An unbelievably harmonious wine with a long-lasting finish.
