A pleasantly balanced blend of malt and grain whiskies that have been matured in former bourbon barrels for more than 12 years. It is finished in sherry barrels, giving The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask a unique sweetness with citrus notes. This is complemented by a hint of clove, oak and gingerbread, while caramel and vanilla notes develop during the clean finish. The full-bodied, smooth aroma is very persistent thanks to the long maturation period.
