This superb fine wine retains its aromatic freshness and a pleasant acidity thanks to the relatively early harvest. In addition, the limestone and sandy soils of the L'Oratoire des Papes vineyard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape gives the wine a characteristic note of minerality. A rich yellow with hints of green in the glass, the bouquet of this wine features intense aromas of pear, quince and peach. It is full-bodied, complex and fruity on the palate, with slightly savoury notes that develop towards the end, culminating in a subtly bitter note. A unique wine with excellent ageing potential.
