The U50 is defined by robustness and the clear readability of the comfortable-to-wear dial of 41 mm in diameter. Visually, the diving watch features a matte black dial with a striking design and a display that concentrates on the essentials. It also has all the special features you would expect from Sinn. For example, the case and crown are made of high-strength German submarine steel, which is characterised by its exceptional toughness and extreme resistance to seawater and is also particularly anti-magnetic.

The bezel is designed so that it cannot be detached from the case. As it can be exposed to high stresses during use, it has also been surface-hardened using TEGIMENT Technology to make it extremely scratch-resistant. These features make the U50 perfect for dive operations - a fact verified by the classification society DNV GL. The organisation has confirmed and certified the watch is pressure-resistant up to 50 bar and also its temperature stability and functioning in compliance with European diving equipment standards.
