Everything close at hand when it matters
If you need something quickly while you're on the go, the large zip panel on the back gives you direct access to the main compartment. The external pockets, lid compartment, compression straps and gear loops create structure and space for additional equipment. The gear loops on the shoulder straps and hip belt come into their own on vie ferrate, as they're perfect for attaching carabiners securely. If you don't need the hip belt, you can simply remove it.
