Sustainably produced
The shoes are made from cowhides salvaged from the regional meat industry, which otherwise would be disposed of as waste.
This handmade classic low-cut shoe with Lufthansa branding has the typical Veldskoen style and comfort. Veldskoen shoes from South Africa have gained cult status and are, according to their own motto, made for people with dreams inside them, memories behind them, and journeys ahead of them. Veldskoen is conscious of using sustainable raw materials in production and therefore sources up to ninety percent of its leather from the South African meat industry, where the skins would have been disposed of as "waste products". Veldskoen also only works with leather suppliers who pay their employees fair wages and offer good working conditions.
