This exclusive Lufthansa cutlery set from WMF will bring a piece of history to your table: inspired by the age of the legendary Ju 52, it recalls the beginnings of air travel and the first exclusive services above the clouds. This set consists of a table knife, a table fork, a table spoon and a teaspoon and combines stylish elegance with aviation-influenced history. The Ju 52 joined the Lufthansa fleet as early as 1932 and quickly formed the backbone of the German airline before the Second World War. And although the aircraft's commercial use on scheduled services ended relatively early on, it remained a powerful historical symbol of Lufthansa for many decades. Lufthansa's last "Tante Ju", D-AQUI, was finally withdrawn from commercial sightseeing flights at the end of 2018, more than eighty years after its first flight.
