Safe and anonymous searching

Only you can see the current location of your AirTag. Your location data and history are never stored, and the data that is transmitted is encrypted every step of the way. All devices that transmit location data also remain anonymous. The process is not just secure but also efficient: the AirTag is designed to keep going for more than a year on a standard battery that you can easily replace.

**The Apple AirTag is splash-, water- and dust-resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions. It has a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes). Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.
