The waffle iron's double non-stick coating is particularly sugar-resistant, so there's no build-up of sugar even during continuous use, and there's no need to grease the plates either. The flexible hinge allows the waffles to rise even more evenly, and a visual and acoustic signal indicates when they're ready. The appliance is really easy to clean too, thanks to the internal hinge, grease collection groove and external cable guide.
