Freud Whisky is a tribute to Freudenberg, the proud home of the legendary Ziegler distillery. The Freud Distillers Cut is the distillery's first whisky, matured in chestnut and ex-bourbon barrels before being finished off in the characteristic "Alte Zwetschge" barrel. Its flavour is dominated by sweet citrus notes, floral blossom aromas, a light and smoky malt spice and hints of roasted nuts and candied apples. A complex malt whisky that's pleasantly accessible at 41.5% ABV and a delight when enjoyed either neat or mixed.
