Having matured for years in traditional whisky barrels made from American oak, this Scotch has warming notes of honey and vanilla. Finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels, the aroma profile is complemented by a combination of floral, fruit and spice notes. On the nose, you perceive raisins, blackcurrants and oak before delicate scents of cloves and lavender come into play. On the palate, aromas of grape, mandarin and fig combine with the strong oaky flavour and the sweetness of honey. The finish is soft and intensive.
