An appealing, fruity and spicy wine, offering hints of Christmas spices, mocha and black cherries, with soft tannins, subtle acidity and a round body. Château Valandraud is now reaping the rewards of the ambitious work carried out by Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud. Having enjoyed real success as a négociant in Saint-Émilion, the ambitious couple were keen to run their own vineyard. Château Valandraud was designated a 1er Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Émilion classification in 2012.
