You can expect a perfect composition of Shiraz and Cabernet that has been matured in oak barrels for 14 months. The wine has a dark ruby-red appearance and an opulent nose redolent of ripe blackberries, eucalyptus and chocolate. Demanding palates are spoilt with a silky fruitiness of ripe plums and sweet black cherries. The tannin is soft and provides the fruit with optimum body. The finish is also incomparable: The wine lingers for minutes. The dry, wood-matured wine is best served with game, lamb or a mature hard cheese.
