The wine has fruity aromas of pineapple, green apple and lemon. Even though pressed to be aperitif style and fresh, it is nearly full-bodied. Its flavours include a tropical finesse of pineapple, litchi, green pepper and lemongrass in aromatic harmony with the typical soft, fresh flavours of gooseberry. With its natural acids and the sprightly structure, it pairs beautifully with seafood, pasta and hot and spicy dishes, such as Chinese or Thai cuisine. But it can also stand up to intensively seasoned or savoury foods such as goat's cheese. Of course, it can also be enjoyed "solo", or as a refreshing aperitif.
